How to Install Your batlr. Shoelace Holsters

Step 1: Identify the centre loop
Hold the holster so it forms a capital “T”. The vertical middle tab is what will loop around your boot laces, while the horizontal arms are the holsters for your lace ends.

Step 2: Position the holster
Locate the criss-cross point of your tied laces — ideally a little above where your laces ends will dangle once you have tied your laces. This is where the centre tab of the holster will wrap around.

Step 3: Loop and fasten
Wrap the middle tab of the “T” around your laces at the criss-cross point and secure it using the snap fastener (press the cap and socket together until they click).

Step 4: Holster your lace ends
After tying your laces, push each aglet (lace tip) into the holster sleeves on either side of the “T”. This locks the lace ends in place and keeps them from whipping around or untying.

Step 5: Untie with ease
To remove your laces, simply pull the lace ends back out of the holsters and untie as usual. No need to unfasten the holster — it stays on until you choose to remove it.
